The island is located in the center of the Coral Triangle, which is known worldwide as the most important center for marine biodiversity. The reefs around Kusu Island are completely intact and offer a colorful underwater world.

Nature lovers also have the opportunity to explore the island's pristine rainforests and mangroves, which are home to numerous fascinating animals such as butterflies, bird species and monitor lizards.
OCEAN VILLAS
The villas, which are built on stilts directly above the sea, have an open-plan living and sleeping area, a luxurious bathroom and a spacious veranda with private access to the sea.
The breathtaking underwater world that surrounds Kusu is just a few strokes of the fins away. From here, you can enjoy the crystal-clear water with a magnificent view over the sea, all in complete privacy.
Each villa is unique due to the sustainable furniture made from materials such as driftwood and the great attention to detail. The open-plan living area has a large double bed or alternatively two single beds with mosquito nets, a desk, a seating area with coffee table and an open closet.
In addition, all villas are equipped with air conditioning, European 220 V sockets, a mini fridge and a safe. In the bathroom you will also find biodegradable shower gel, hair shampoo, hair conditioner and bath & beach towels.

- Restaurant
The restaurant at Kusu Island Resort is also located directly by the sea. With a fully glazed front that can be opened completely, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the sea from all sides.
Enjoy Indonesian and international specialties with all your senses.
The restaurant's relaxation area is open all day. Here you will find cozy sofas and coffee tables, all made from sustainable materials. It's the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or a refreshing cocktail while gazing out to sea and watching the small blacktip reef sharks swim by.
Three meals a day are served as well as freshly baked delicacies for afternoon tea. Coffee, tea & fresh fruit are available to guests at any time of day.

We provide SIM cards for your personal Internet access at reception (2 GB per week and room).

- Spa & Wellness
Various wellness treatments are offered for relaxation, which you can enjoy either in the privacy of your own villa or on the spacious veranda overlooking the sea.
- Kayak
Kayak trips in traditional Indonesian wooden boats are also offered and are an excellent way to explore the pristine bays, beaches and fascinating natural wonders around the island. An incomparable experience not to be missed.
Located in the middle of the coral triangle, the underwater world around the island offers over 3,000 fish and 600 coral species.
In addition to miles of colorful reefs teeming with marine life, Kusu is located in a 5-mile marine protected zone where commercial fishing boats are not allowed.
The large selection of spectacular dive sites for every level of experience is a true paradise for divers & snorkelers. Admire pristine and spectacular reefs that have only just been discovered and enjoy dive sites right on your doorstep.
From large fish such as tuna, dolphins, whales, manta rays and sharks to large schools of fish and macro life such as pygmy seahorses and nudibranchs, the reefs are teeming with life and are home to hard coral gardens, lush colorful soft corals and gorgonians. The seascape features drop-offs, slopes, caves, overhangs, seagrass beds and underwater pinnacles.
DIVING CENTER
The Diving & Watersports Center is located at the end of the jetty and offers easy access to the stunning house reef.
It has a camera room, an area to store your personal equipment, an indoor & outdoor relaxation area, a small souvenir store and four freshwater washbasins and showers.
At least 40 famous dive & snorkeling sites are less than 15 minutes away, many of them directly on the fringing reef of Kusu.
Despite the remote location of Kusu Island, the island is easy to reach. After the international flight to Jakarta, Manado or Makassar, you continue via Ternate to Labuha, where you are personally welcomed by a member of the resort staff.
After a 40-minute speedboat ride, you check in at the resort for an incomparable vacation.
