Routes and availability
North & Tiran
This Red Sea dive route mixes up the most famous wrecks in the northern Red Sea with dives on stunning walls and vibrant hard coral reefs.
You'll get to explore the famous four wrecks of Abu Nuhas, often called the 'ship graveyard'. This reef is super close to the Suez Canal shipping lane and has claimed more ships than any other spot in the Red Sea! The wrecks are incredibly picturesque, absolutely covered in corals, and make for amazing photos – especially the Carnatic, which went down way back in 1869.
Brother's, Daedalus & Elphinstone
You can explore the Brother Islands, which are the peaks of two underwater mountains rising from the deep, while diving in the Red Sea, about 50 nautical miles off the coast near the city of Quseir.
The Aida II, an Egyptian supply ship, and the Numidia, a cargo ship, rest against the walls of Big Brother and can be explored on this Red Sea liveaboard trip.
Daedalus Reef is a large oval reef with a lighthouse, and its walls offer some of the most beautiful dive sites in the Red Sea.
You might even spot thresher sharks, an oceanic species, and the magnificent whale shark near the reef sometimes.
Last but not least, this diving safari finishes up at Elphinstone, a legendary Red Sea reef where you can expect the unexpected!
Daedalus, Rocky & Zabargad
Daedalus Reef, also known as Abu El Kizan, is the furthest reef from the coast in the Egyptian Red Sea. Rocky and Zabargad islands are close together, southeast of Ras Banas. Rocky's sheer walls are covered with breathtaking forests of soft and fan corals. Zabargad Island, stunning in its spectacular beauty, was used as a gemstone mine in ancient times. The sheer walls of Elphinstone Reef plunge steeply into the blue, richly adorned with soft and fan corals.
North & Brothers
The walls of the Brothers connect with the fantastic wrecks in the northern Red Sea.
Rocky, Zabargad, St. John's
As Egypt's southernmost diving destination in the Red Sea, not many divers make it to St. Johns, Zabargad, and Rocky Island. Those who do often say it's the best diving in the Red Sea. With tons of marine life, uncrowded dive spots, and crystal-clear visibility, it's easy to see why!
St. Johns is a super healthy reef system, about 40 kilometers southwest of Rocky Island and just east of Elba National Park. You'll find two amazing reef dives there, Habili Ali and Habili Gafaar, famous for their loads of soft and black corals, plus all sorts of pelagic fish.
North & Wrecks
The North Safari is a perfect mix of wreck and reef diving. You'll get to visit the most impressive wrecks in the northern Red Sea and experience some amazing reef diving. This cruise is great for everyone, even snorkelers!
St. John’s
St. John’s is a collection of small reefs that offer some of the most spectacular underwater wildlife scenes in the Red Sea. Habili Ali Reef boasts huge gorgonians and black corals. The Grey Reef is home to silvertip and hammerhead sharks – on its west side. Habili Gafaar is a soft coral garden with snappers, butterflyfish, and barracudas. To the north, you'll find St. John's Cave, an area where shallow cracks lead into small caverns.
Fury Shoals
The Fury Shoals are made up of several reefs along the southwest coast of the Red Sea, offering amazing diving opportunities with some of Egypt's most untouched reefs. The hard and soft corals are pristine and a real highlight at many dive sites, like the Fury Shoal Garden.
North, Tiran & Dahab
This route gives you the chance to dive deep into the Gulf of Aqaba.
Dive through the famous Blue Hole and the Canyon, passing by the magical dive site Gabr El Bint.
Brothers, Daedalus & Fury
Brothers and Daedalus are the best spots to get a chance to see the 'big fish',
Fury Shoals, located in the southern Egyptian part of the Red Sea, is a dolphin hotspot. You'll find countless beautiful reefs here, teeming with thousands of colorful fish.
Abu Fandira / St. John’s
St. John’s and Abu Fandira is a spot where you'll hardly see any liveaboards or divers. The 6 km long reef line is located south of St. John’s, running east to west. The diverse topographies of the 6 long reefs offer a magnificent view of glowing coral blocks at about 15-20 meters. Besides the reef sharks cruising around, you'll also find large schools of fish and many types of crustaceans. Beautiful Napoleon fish and the rare humphead parrotfish live here in large numbers.
