The Carpe Diem Cruises fleet is super excited to introduce their second ship in the Maldives, the Carpe Vita!

This luxurious sister ship to the Carpe Diem is 38 meters long, and its name means "Seize Life". It features 10 cabins and can host up to 20 divers across 3 decks.

Since 2011, this liveaboard has been cruising to the most stunning dive spots in the Maldives. You'll find mostly 7- and sometimes 10-day dive cruises on their schedule, promising unforgettable holiday memories!

CABINS

  • 10 Cabins with space for a total of 20 guests

    Upper Deck: 2 Suites with King Size beds (can be split into 2 single beds)
    Main Deck: 2 Superior Cabins with King Size beds (can be split into 2 single beds)
    Lower Deck: 6 Cabins
    with a Queen Size bed + a single bed

    Every suite and cabin comes with its own private bathroom, shower/toilet, towels (plus an extra beach towel for diving or sunbathing!), individually controlled air conditioning, a safe, flat-screen TV, wardrobe, dresser, and power adapters.

    The suites are super spacious and have big windows. And if you're in an Upper Deck suite, you'll even get a double sink!

FACILITIES

  • Lounge & Restaurant Area
    You'll find the air-conditioned lounge and restaurant area on the main deck, where you can grab drinking water, coffee, and tea 24/7. It's got a flat-screen TV, a DVD/MP3 player, an onboard sound system, a library, and comfy seating with power outlets for your laptop.
    Just outside the lounge, there's another super comfy, shaded seating area with cozy cushions.
  • Upper Deck
    You can get to the upper deck by stairs from both inside and outside. Up here, you'll find comfy sofas where you can chill out and even watch the captain steering the boat! 
  • Sun Deck
    From the dining area, just head up the stairs to the spacious, partly shaded sun deck. It's got plenty of seating and sun loungers for you to relax on. There's even a hot tub on the sun deck – perfect for soaking and enjoying the stunning Maldivian islands as you cruise to your next dive spot!
  • Internet
    You can grab 3GB or 5GB internet packages right on the boat.

DINING

  • Up on the top deck, you'll find an open-air restaurant and a bar. This is where they serve up delicious national and international dishes, and mix refreshing drinks after your last dive.

You'll dive from the Carpe Vita's dive dhoni.

The dive team leader on board is a local Dive Instructor who's been with Carpe Diem Cruises for years and knows all the dive spots, even the challenging ones, perfectly.

Cruises usually kick off every Saturday – though for 10-night trips, the departure days might be a bit different.
