With the Carpe Vita, the Carpe Diem Cruises fleet presents its second ship in the Maldives.

The 38-metre-long, luxurious sister ship of the Carpe Diem, whose name means "seize life", has 10 cabins and offers space for 20 divers spread over 3 decks.

The liveaboard ship has been sailing to the most beautiful dive sites in the Maldives since 2011. Mostly 7- & also 10-day diving cruises, which bring unforgettable vacation memories, are on the tour plan of the fleet.

CABINS

  • 10 cabins with space for a total of 20 guests

    Upper deck: 2 suites
    with king size bed (can also be separated into 2 single beds)
    Main deck: 2 superior cabins with king size bed (can also be separated into 2 single beds)
    Lower deck: 6 cabins
    equipped with queen size bed + single bed

    All suites & cabins are equipped with private bathroom, shower/WC, towels & extra beach towel for diving or sunbathing, individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, flat screen TV, closet, chest of drawers and adapter.

    The suites are extremely spacious and have a large window front. The suites on the upper deck are also equipped with a double washbasin.

EQUIPMENT

  • Lounge & restaurant area
    The air-conditioned lounge & restaurant area is located on the main deck and offers drinking water, coffee & tea around the clock. It is equipped with a flat screen and a DVD/MP3 player, an in-house sound system, a library and a comfortable seating area with sockets for your laptop.
    In front of the lounge there is another comfortable, shaded seating area with cozy cushions.
  • Upper deck
    The upper deck can be accessed via a staircase from both inside and outside. Here you will find comfortable sofas from which you can watch the captain steering the ship. 
  • Sun deck
    A staircase leads from the dining area to the spacious, partially shaded sun deck, which is equipped with seating and sun loungers. There is also a whirlpool on the sun deck, perfect for enjoying the Maldivian island world on the way to the next dive site.
  • Internet
    packages of 3GB or 5GB are available directly on the ship

CULINARY

  • There is an open-air restaurant and a bar on the upper deck of the ship. This is where national and international delicacies are served and cool drinks are mixed after the last dive.

Carpe Vita dives from the diving dhoni.

The head of the dive team on the ship is a local dive instructor who has been working on the Carpe Diem Cruises ships for several years and knows the sometimes challenging dive sites perfectly.
