GALAPAGOS ISLANDS
discover unique nature & biodiversity
The incredible abundance of animals and the unique biodiversity both above and below the water make the exotic and extensive Galapagos region a very special destination. Galapagos is considered the number one diving destination in the world and should therefore be on every diver's diving safari list.
Divers can therefore enjoy the fascinating wildlife of the Galapagos Islands twice over: playful sea lions, penguins, giant turtles, iguanas, countless bird species, plus huge schools of fish, majestic hammerhead sharks, elegant manta rays, sea turtles and whale sharks in the months of September to December.
The Humboldt Explorer itinerary offers diving experiences at the most fascinating sites in the Galapagos Islands, including Darwin Island, Wolf Island and Cousin's Rock.
The clear waters offer visibility that will delight any diver. Currents make the dives challenging, but also exciting for experienced divers. The underwater landscape is characterized by breathtaking rock formations, colourful coral reefs and a variety of marine life. Diving on the Galapagos Islands is an unforgettable experience that reveals the beauty and uniqueness of the marine world in all its splendor.
