You encounter the majestic tiger sharks almost every dive!
Here you will find the largest known population of tiger sharks in the world, as well as the only known mating site for tiger and thresher sharks.
There is also a chance of encountering gray reef sharks, barracudas, whale sharks, hammerheads, mola molas, oceanic whitetip sharks and manta rays.
Due to its biodiversity, the island has been declared a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

The dive center DivePoint Fuvahmulah was opened in January 2021 by our partner and is one of the very few centers in the Maldives that are "Green Fin" certified.
Guided dives
As a certified diver, you can take part in the daily boat dives. The dives take place in small groups and usually in the morning and afternoon.
In the morning two dives can be made at two different dive sites, in the afternoon another boat dive is offered.
Our experienced guides will explain to you in advance what you can expect on the planned dive, what you should look out for and what local conditions need to be taken into account.
Diving courses in the Maldives
Customized training will give you the skills and experience you need to feel safe and comfortable underwater.
From beginners to certified divers, there is something for everyone: Basic Diver, Open Water Diver, Advanced Diver or special courses such as deep diving, night diving, diving with limited visibility, as well as training courses on waves, tides and currents, underwater videography & photography and DPV/Scooter are offered.
Experienced divers also have the option of training to become a dive guide, divemaster or even an instructor.
Seabob
Learn how to dive with an underwater scooter! This dive provides you with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely plan and conduct dives with underwater scooters.
You will learn the special precautions for using DPVs, how to communicate with your buddy and how to properly control your equipment. New experiences will help you feel safe and comfortable during dives.
Equipment rental
The diving center is equipped with high-quality rental equipment and is a MARES distribution partner in the Maldives. You can therefore also purchase your own equipment here during your Maldives vacation and try it out straight away.
- DIN/INT bottles are available in the sizes: 7L, 10L, 12L & 15L
- Latest Olympus photo equipment with instruction in the rental shop
- Nitrox is FREE for all certified Nitrox divers
- Special children's sizes are available for hire
