The MV Keana, led by the experienced Maldives pioneer Norbert Schmidt, comes with all the gear you need for diving. This boat is truly all about diving – built by divers, for divers!
Keana's tours are super comfy, safe, and packed with adventure! They'll take you to the most beautiful spots, islands, reefs, and dive sites in the Maldives, where you can meet mantas, sharks, whale sharks, and so much more.
CABINS
- 8 Cabins with space for a total of 16 Guests
Upper Deck: 4 Cabins
– 1 cabin with a double bed, 3 cabins with single beds
Main Deck: 4 Cabins – 1 cabin with a double bed, 3 cabins with single bedsEach cabin offers ocean views, two windows that open, blackout blinds, a private bathroom with a shower/toilet, individually controlled air conditioning, storage space, a dressing area, and plenty of European power outlets (220-V).
FACILITIES
- Lounge & Restaurant
These are located on the main deck. All meals are served here buffet-style. The interior design is clean and practical. A large, open doorway leads to the aft platform, where a limited number of guests can also enjoy their meals. Plus, drinking water, tea, and coffee are available 24/7 for free. - Sun Deck
You can get to the spacious sun deck, which has plenty of space to chill out, from the upper deck. It also offers a covered area for some shady moments.Â
DINING

The Keana's long-time chef whips up local & international specialties and treats, served buffet style. You'll also find freshly caught fish, steaks, pizza, and even vegetarian & vegan dishes on the menu. Snacks, tea, and coffee are served between dives. - Bar & Outdoor Area
The mostly shaded bar, with its amazing views of the Maldivian sea, is super inviting for chilling out and relaxing.
Comfy seating makes it the perfect spot for your morning coffee, cool drinks during the day, or an evening sundowner.

All dives on board the Keana are done from the dhoni.
Because of Maldivian diving rules and some tricky dive spots with strong currents, you'll need at least an AOWD certification to join all the dives without any issues.
You'll need to have at least 30 dives under your belt.

This is the most common route and takes you to some of the most beautiful dive sites in the Maldives.

Deep South
Because of the long distance, we've planned a 2-week route for this tour, including a domestic flight from Malé to Gan and back.
