The MV Keana, under the proven management of Maldives pioneer Norbert Schmidt, is equipped with all the equipment you need for diving. A boat that is definitely all about diving - built by divers for divers.
Comfortable, safe and eventful, Keana tours take you to the most beautiful spots, islands, reefs and dive sites in the Maldives for encounters with manta rays, sharks, whale sharks and much more.
CABINS
- 8 cabins with space for a total of 16 guests
Upper deck: 4 cabins
- of which 1 cabin with double bed, 3 cabins with single beds
Main deck: 4 cabins - of which 1 cabin with double bed, 3 cabins with single bedsEach cabin has a sea view as well as 2 windows that can be opened, opaque blinds, private bathroom with shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, storage space, dressing area and sufficient European sockets (220 V).
EQUIPMENT
- Salon & Restaurant
are located on the main deck. All meals are served here in buffet style. The interior design is clear and functional. A large, open access leads to the stern platform, which can also be used for meals for a limited number of guests. Drinking water, tea and coffee are available free of charge 24 hours a day. - Sun deck
The spacious sun deck, which has plenty of room to relax, is accessed via the upper deck. It also offers a covered area for shady hours.Â
CULINARY

Local & international specialties and delicacies are created by Keana's long-time chef and served in buffet form, including home-caught fish, steaks, pizza and vegetarian & vegan dishes. Snacks, tea and coffee are served between dives. - Bar & outdoor area
The mostly shaded bar with a great view of the Maldivian sea invites you to linger and relax.
Comfortable seating is the ideal place for your morning coffee, cool drinks during the day or an evening sundowner.

All dives on board the Keana are conducted from the dhoni.
Due to the Maldivian diving regulations and the sometimes challenging dive sites with strong currents, divers require AOWD training as a minimum requirement to be able to participate in all dives without restrictions.
A minimum of 30 dives is required.
