The Carpe Novo is the newest and now also the largest ship in the Carpe Diem Maldives fleet, built in 2016 and measuring an impressive 42 meters long.
The motor yacht has 12 comfy cabins spread across 3 decks, offering space for 22 people.
Plus, you can spend some relaxing hours on the Carpe Novo's sundeck between dives. Â
CABINS
- 12 cabins with space for a total of 22 guests
Upper Deck: 4 Junior Suites with a king-size bed (which can also be split into 2 single beds)
Main Deck: 2 Single Suites with a queen-size bed
Lower Deck: 6 cabins – 4 of them with a queen-size bed + a single bed, 2 cabins with single beds
All suites & cabins come with their own bathroom, shower/toilet, individually controlled air conditioning, a safe, TV/HD player, wardrobe, dressing table, and 220-volt sockets.
The suites on the upper deck feature spacious windows and a bathroom with double sinks.
FACILITIES
- Lounge Area
Our air-conditioned lounge area is on the main deck and offers drinking water, coffee & tea around the clock. It's equipped with a flatscreen and a Full HD media player.
Outside the lounge, you'll find another comfy, shaded seating area with cozy cushions. - Camera Room
The Carpe Novo also has a camera room with good lighting and a camera table. This is also located on the main deck. - Sun Deck
You can get to the sun deck, which is perfect for relaxing and sunbathing, via stairs from the upper deck. Here, you'll find sun loungers and a shaded seating area, and it's also the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset with a cool drink. - WIFI
packages (3 GB or 5 GB) are available right on the boat.
DINING
- Up on the top deck, you'll find an open-air restaurant and a bar. This is where they serve up delicious national and international dishes, and mix refreshing drinks after your last dive.

You'll be diving from the dive dhoni when you're on the Carpe Novo.
The dive team on board is led by a local Dive Instructor who's been with Carpe Diem Cruises for years and knows all the dive spots, even the tricky ones, like the back of their hand.

The Carpe Novo is just perfect for 7 and 10-night safaris.
Cruises usually kick off every Saturday, but for those 10-night trips, the departure days might be a bit different.
