The Breakers Diving & Surfing Lodge, which reopened after a renovation in April 2023, has come up with a unique concept on the Red Sea for divers, kitesurfers, and backpackers. This way, everyone can totally enjoy their holiday and pursue their passions.

ACCOMMODATION
It's “Welcome Home” in our 173 comfy rooms, which have everything you need to wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. The beds are super comfortable with extra-long duvets, you get free Wi-Fi, and there's a balcony where you can enjoy amazing views of the sea, mountains, pool, or golf course.

If you're into recreational sports, there's beach volleyball, and twice a year, they even host beach camps for all you beach volleyball enthusiasts.
Plus, there's a modern gym and two jogging tracks right outside, perfect for really working up a sweat.
If you're in the mood for a chill water sport, stand-up paddling in front of the Kite House is a fantastic choice. But even if you prefer something a bit more relaxed, they offer things like boccia.

The yoga pavilion on the rooftop terrace offers unique views of the Red Sea and the surrounding mountains. Here, you can kick off your day with a relaxing yoga session and wind down in the evening with a breathtaking sunset. - Stand-Up Paddling
Gently gliding over the turquoise, crystal-clear water and forgetting all your daily stress – that's what stand-up paddling in front of the Kite House is all about. If you're feeling sporty, you can even join a SUP race.
- Jogging
Two jogging tracks run right along Breakers, offering a beautiful backdrop of beaches, palm trees, and the sea. The tracks are 5 and 9 kilometers long, so they offer the perfect challenge for both beginners and experienced runners.
- Sauna
If your muscles are feeling a bit overworked from all the daytime activities, the panoramic sauna offers your body the perfect chance to relax and recover.
- Sunset Tour
Every Saturday evening, Breakers invites you to experience the magical Red Sea sunset together on board. Accompanied by a DJ's perfect chill-out music and a selection of cocktails, the evening becomes an unforgettable experience.
In just a few minutes, you can get from your breakfast table to the house reef – because the jetty leads directly there – it's only 400 meters away.
Here, one of the most beautiful house reefs worldwide awaits, where experienced divers, beginners, and snorkelers alike will absolutely love it. You'll see a huge variety of fish and larger marine life passing by, including turtles, barracudas, and rays. With a bit of luck, you might even meet Wally the Whale Shark!
The Red Sea is a true underwater paradise, boasting tons of colorful fish schools, marine creatures of all sizes, and that special light that creates a breathtaking vibe during an early morning or night dive.
ORCA DIVE CLUB
Dive into a world full of adventure with the ORCA station at Breakers. Here, there's not only loads to discover but also plenty of amenities for divers. The experienced dive instructors are on hand with expert advice and tips. After your dive, you can grab a refreshing 'Deko Bier' at the popular Beach Bar and relive the day's highlights.
KITE SURFING
Soma Bay is a real mecca for kitesurfers, and Breakers is the perfect starting point. In just 8 minutes, you can take the shuttle bus to the Kite House – one of Egypt's biggest and most beautiful kite stations.
This spot is world-renowned and ranks among the top 3 kite spots anywhere! Perfect conditions, like a huge flat-water area and consistent winds from 4 to 8 Bft, guarantee action-packed kite sessions all year long. With cross-offshore wind, the water is incredibly smooth, making it perfect for jumping, jibing, and setting speed records. The 7 rescue service & training boats are out on the water all day. Even on windless days, the vibe at the Kite House is always great, and there's plenty of entertainment.
The Breakers Diving & Surfing Lodge is just 45km from Hurghada Airport, so it's super easy to get to with a quick 50-minute drive, no long travel times at all.
