The Breakers Diving & Surfing Lodge, which reopened in April 2023 after a renovation, has developed a unique concept for divers, kitesurfers and backpackers alike on the Red Sea, so that all guests can enjoy their vacation to the fullest and live out their passion.
Whether as a group, couple or solo traveler, the shared connection to the sea brings everyone closer together at Breakers Lodge.
Whether diving, kiting or simply relaxing, the lodge - surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty - has something for everyone.
Even "passive vacationers" will find everything their heart desires here.
ACCOMMODATION
"Welcome Home" is the motto in the 173 comfortable rooms, which offer everything you need to start the day fit and relaxed the next morning. The beds are comfortable and equipped with extra-long blankets, there is free Wi-Fi and a balcony from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, the mountains, the pool or the golf course.

In the evening, the kitchen team will spoil you with highly praised, creative cuisine, with a different theme on the program every day, from Nubian and Arabic to BBQ with delicious specialties.
Vegetarians and vegans won't be disappointed either - special requests & intolerances are gladly taken into account.

Where better to enjoy a culinary 6-course menu from the sea than in an impressive, completely private atmosphere.
The kitchen can also create a vegetarian option on request. - Tomahawk Dinner
The evening begins with delicious starters, followed by a juicy tomahawk steak with vegetables and toasted ciabatta bread.
Of course, a sweet dessert is also on the menu.
ACTIVITIES
At Breakers, you can not only experience the exciting world of diving and surfing, but also a variety of other activities.
Beach volleyball is available for recreational athletes and beach camps are organized twice a year for beach volleyball fans.
There is also a modern fitness room and two jogging trails right in front of the house, so you can really work out.
If you fancy a relaxed water sports activity, stand-up paddling in front of the Kite House is a great option. But for those who prefer to take it a little easier, there is also boccia on offer.

- Massage & Beauty
Treat your body and mind to some time out after an eventful day and enjoy a soothing massage to relax. You can choose between a relaxing Soma Bay massage, hot stone massage, herbal or pampering Thai massage - simply leave the stress of everyday life behind you.
- Yoga
The yoga pavilion on the roof terrace offers a unique view of the Red Sea and the surrounding mountains. Here you can start the day with a relaxing yoga session and end the evening with a breathtaking sunset. The yoga program is led all year round by an experienced teacher who will help you relax your body and mind.
- Stand-Up Paddling
Glide gently over the turquoise, crystal-clear water and forget the stress of everyday life - that's possible with stand-up paddling in front of the Kite House. If you want to get active, you can also take part in a SUP race.
- Jogging
Two jogging routes run directly along the Breakers and offer a beautiful backdrop of beaches, palm trees and the sea. The routes are 5 and 9 kilometers long and therefore offer the right challenge for both beginners and experienced runners.
- Sauna
If your muscles have been too strained by the sporting activities during the day, the panorama sauna offers your body the perfect opportunity to relax and recover.
- Sunset Tour
Every week on Saturday evening, the Breakers invites you to experience the magical Red Sea sunset together on board. Accompanied by the perfect chill-out music of a DJ and a selection of cocktails, the evening becomes an unforgettable experience.
You can reach the house reef within a few minutes from the breakfast table - as the jetty leads directly to it - just 400 meters away.
One of the most beautiful house reefs in the world awaits here, where both experienced divers and beginners & snorkelers alike get their money's worth. A variety of fish and larger sea creatures pass by here, including turtles, barracudas and rays. With a bit of luck, you might even come across Wally the whale shark!
The Red Sea is a true underwater paradise with a multitude of colorful schools of fish, sea creatures of all sizes and the special light that creates a breathtaking atmosphere during early morning dives or night dives.
ORCA DIVE CLUB
Dive into a world of adventure with the ORCA station at the Breakers. There is not only a lot to discover here, but also numerous amenities for divers. The experienced diving instructors are on hand with expert advice and tips. After diving, you can enjoy a refreshing Deko beer in the popular beach bar and reflect on the day.
KITE SURFING
Soma Bay is a true Mecca for kitesurfers and the Breakers offers the perfect starting point. The shuttle bus takes you to the Kite House - one of the largest and most beautiful kite centers in Egypt - in just 8 minutes.
The spot is known worldwide and is one of the top 3 kitespots in the world! The perfect conditions, such as a huge flat water slope and constant winds of 4 to 8 Bft, ensure action-packed kite sessions all year round. With cross-offshore winds, the water is incredibly smooth and perfect for jumping, jibing and setting speed records. The 7 Rescue Service & Training boats are out on the water all day long. Even on windless days, there is always a good atmosphere in the kite house and plenty of entertainment.
The Breakers Diving & Surfing Lodge is located 45 km from Hurghada Airport and is therefore only a 50-minute drive away, making it easy to reach without too much travel time.
