The Marsa Nakari Village is a charming, small village that will enchant you with its sheltered bay and private house reef.

It's considered one of the region's best-kept secrets and is located just 18 kilometers south of Marsa Alam city.
With a maximum of 120 guests, it's a very private village, and the team is dedicated to offering its visitors a truly personal service.

Marsa Nakari offers some of the best water and land attractions away from mass tourism and is close to the Samadai Protectorate – also known as the 'Dolphin House Reef' – and the Wadi el Gemal National Park. Samadai is famous as a resting spot for spinner dolphins, while Wadi el Gemal features a coastal strip with mangroves and several islands.

With unlimited house reef dives, a selection of the most beautiful beach dive sites, and remote reefs, divers can truly customize their diving holiday.

TENTS & CHALETS

Marsa Nakari Village offers 4 different accommodation categories, so there's something for every taste and budget.

  • Tent
The tents are a unique feature of the village, offering an exciting experience that's central to its concept. They're located in the heart of the resort and come with handcrafted furniture, lighting, power outlets, and a seating area right outside your door with sea views. Each tent has 2 single beds, and guests share a communal bathroom (please bring your own towels for showering and the beach).

  • Royal Tent
The Royal Tent is our most requested accommodation option. It's equipped with all the essential amenities like a mini-fridge, fan, comfy bean bags, and a table. Plus, there's a seating area right by the beach, just a few meters away. These tents come with either a double bed or two single beds and share a communal bathroom. Please remember to bring your own towels for showering and beach use.

  • Chalet
The Deluxe Chalet is the village's finest room, offering spectacular views of the mountains on one side and the Red Sea on the other. The chalets feature terraces on both sides with unobstructed sea views, and come with either a double bed or single beds, plus a wardrobe, side & dressing table, air conditioning, digital safe, mini-fridge, and a kettle with coffee and tea making facilities. Towels for showering are provided in your private bathroom, but you'll need to bring your own beach towels.

FACILITIES

  • Restaurant & Bar
Our buffet restaurant, located in the heart of the village and boasting panoramic views, offers a wide variety of dishes that will more than satisfy every taste.

  • Cafeteria

Besides the included refreshments like water, Nescafé, and tea, the cafeteria also offers a selection of other refreshments and snacks such as cappuccino & espresso, soft drinks, beer, chocolate & crisps, ice cream, and souvenirs.

To be as eco-friendly as possible, guests receive a water bottle here, which can be refilled for free at any dispenser in the village.

ACTIVITIES

  • Massages

The Village has its own massage tent where you can treat yourself to all sorts of massages from professionally trained masseurs, all while enjoying views of the Red Sea.

  • Tours

The Village is the perfect starting point for exploring Marsa Alam's highlights, like El Nayzak Beach, Qulaan Lagoon, Sharm el Luli, and Ras Hankorab.

You can enjoy a traditional dinner prepared by the Ababda Bedouins under the stars on a special evening culinary trip.

Divers, snorkelers & freedivers can enjoy unlimited access to the house reef, which has a wide, comfy entry point right from the beach.

The reef starts right at the coast and stretches both north and south from the entry point, offering six different dive or snorkel profiles.

The North Reef is popular for its hard corals, diverse fish, and many anemones, while divers love exploring the pinnacles and swim-throughs at the South Reef. Marine life in Marsa Nakari is super varied, and macro lovers can admire nudibranchs, shrimp, velvet fish, ghost pipefish, sea moths, and other cool creatures.

Turtles and dolphins are pretty common here, and a school of Indian mackerel with their mouths open constantly patrols inside the bay. Marsa Nakari is the first PADI Resort in the area and even has its own PADI Course Director on-site, offering recreational and advanced courses all year round.

Another highlight is the Shaab Samadai Marine Protected Area – "Dolphin House", where both divers & snorkelers get the chance to meet spinner dolphins in the wild, all under controlled conditions to ensure the protection of the dolphin population.

Thanks to the exclusive access the Village offers, you can reach the coral reef system with its popular, beautiful lagoon in just 20 minutes by speedboat.

ECO-DIVING PROGRAM
At Red Sea Diving Safari, they're super active in protecting and preserving the Red Sea's natural resources. They're always looking for new ways to reduce human impact on the environment and boost sustainability in the region.

They work closely with non-profit organizations, universities, scientists, and other groups to raise awareness about how important the Red Sea ecosystem is.

If guests want to, they can get involved in various activities like land and underwater clean-ups, and even help collect data for international research projects.

You'll reach the Marsa Nakari Village, which is further south, after about a 1-hour drive from Marsa Alam Airport (78km away) and around a 4-hour drive from Hurghada Airport (290km away).

The city of Marsa Alam is about 18 km away. Because it's located further south, the Village is quieter and less crowded than other resorts in Marsa Alam.
